His work in the past has focused on attacking Evo Morales, including his personal affairs. In 2018, he was forced to admit that he fabricated a story about a supposed son of Evo Morales that “never existed.”
Since 2007, according to US Embassy Wikileaks cables, Valverde has coordinated with the US Embassy in Bolivia, including expressing his “grave concerns” that Evo Morales and the government were plotting a “self-coup.”
