The Epoch Times

The Epoch Times is the multilingual flagship publication of the Epoch Media Group and the broader Falun Gong-affiliated media landscape. Its first Mandarin version was launched in 2000 from founder John Tang’s Atlanta basement. In 2003, The Epoch Times launched in English and soon in more than a dozen other languages, both digitally and in print. Today, the outlet is the fourth-largest newspaper in the US by subscriber count and has been called “one of the country’s most successful and influential conservative news organizations.”
