Trump is not alone

Trump is not alone
Help equip our consortium with the tools to expose the Reactionary International once and for all.

“We will not back down.” These were the words of The Heritage Foundation’s new President in a recent email to his supporters. Authors of Project 2025 (the 900-page far-right blueprint for a second Trump administration), the Heritage Foundation are among the leading partners of the Atlas Network which was founded in the US in 1981 to advance the ideals of thinkers like Fridrich Hayek and Ayn Rand.

Since its establishment, the Atlas Network has received millions of dollars in funding from the Koch Brothers—who have spent $145 million directly financing groups that have attacked climate science—the ExxonMobil Foundation, and the Sarah Scaife Foundation—which has a long history of funding climate denial. Project 2025 is Atlas Network’s latest plan to exploit people and planet. And Donald Trump is by no means their only mouthpiece.

The Atlas Network and their billionaire backers do not act alone. For years, a global network has been in formation—bringing together judges and journalists, foundations and financiers, academics and entrepreneurs—with the explicit aim to propel the far-right both within and beyond the boundaries of electoral politics. This is the Reactionary International: far less visible—but far more powerful—than leaders like Trump, Le Pen, or Farage, could ever be on their own.

Every day, this network is gaining ground around the world. We need your help to stop them.

Over the last year, the Reactionary International Research Consortium has been working hard to do just that, exposing the dark underbelly that connects these conservative forces.

Our case studies have revealed the web of state-sponsored spyware that unites Benjamin Netanyahu and Victor Orban in repressing domestic dissidents; how the January 6 insurrection inspired copycat riots thousands of miles away in Brasilia; and how far-right leaders have transformed Spain into a central node of reactionary politics in Europe.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. The movement to undermine democracy is growing. But with your contribution, we can unmask the Reactionary International and arm progressive movements with the knowledge to fight back.

To expand our Research Consortium, conduct in-house investigations into far-right forces and analyse the complex web which unites them, we need to raise a total of $20,000.

Where will this money go? Directly to the brilliant team of researchers who are helping to expose the illicit activities of this Reactionary International: their financial flows, their spyware facilities, their electoral interventions.

Why are we asking for your support to raise this money? Because our team needs the independence and editorial freedom to go where the investigation takes them—even if it points the finger at major actors complicit in those illicit activities.

So please consider making a donation today. Your support will equip our consortium with the tools to expose the Reactionary International once and for all. The Atlas Network and thousands like them are counting on our complacency. But together, we can turn the tide.

Help us reach our goal!
